WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY CAN CHANCE YOUR LOVE LIFE!
Losing weight is not just good for your health, but it is also a boon for your personal life. Anyone who has suffered morbid obesity can tell you that their love life is either nonexistent or it is full of woes. To be eye-catching enough to attract the attention of a potential spouse or a better half is difficult enough while you are good looking, but for those who are overweight it is next to impossible. Being overweight is not just taxing on your body, but it is bad for your self-esteem, confidence and your ability to attract anyone’s attention. Most obese individuals spend their lives either shunned by people or simply accept that they cannot change their lives and live their days resigned to their fate. However, this need not be the case, you can change the way the world looks at you and the way you feel about yourself, all it takes is the will power to change your life and willingness to opt for weight loss surgery.
Weight loss surgery includes Intragastric Balloon Procedure, Laparoscopic Gastric Banding Surgery, Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy Surgery, Laparoscopic Roux En Y Gastric Bypass Surgery and Gastric Imbrication Surgery. These surgeries tackle obesity by curbing your unappeasable appetite. Dieting often fails because hunger pangs cannot be satisfied with diet foods. Weight loss surgery is pure science that helps you eat less, reduces your ability to over eat and helps you discipline your dietary indulgences. These surgeries keep a check on your gluttonous tendencies while post op measures give your body its vital nutrients. So how does weight loss surgery improve your romantic lives you may ask? Well, according to research, people who have undergone weight loss surgery have a higher likelihood of getting married or getting into a new relationship. “We have previously studied the medical benefits of bariatric surgery, but this new study shows that other more personal aspects of the patient’s life may also change after bariatric surgery,” said co-author of the study, Per-Arne Svensson, Associate Professor at Sahlgrenska Academy. The study, published in the journal JAMA Surgery, comprises of two large Swedish associates of bariatric surgery — the Swedish Obese Subjects (SOS) study and the Scandinavian Obesity Surgery registry. In the SOS study, the researchers paralleled self-reported relationship status — including marriages and live-in relationships — in about 2,000 individuals who have undergone bariatric surgery and about 2,000 control persons with obesity. The study found that individuals who have undergone Bariatric surgery are more likely to find a new partner or get married compared with non-operated control subjects. Reports also suggest that having a better body with renewed confidence will encourage those who had previously been in unhappy relationships to have the courage to leave their ugly past behind and start fresh.
People often punish themselves for having a body that subjects them to a life full of ridicule. They take any bits and pieces of affection that comes their way rather than dare to hope for a fulfilling life. Weight loss surgery can give you a new body, renewed confidence and better lease at life that you have always dreamed of. Nobody should ever be made to feel that they deserve the worst of everything just because their bodies don’t fit into the brackets society has devised for them. Weight loss surgery can give you a healthy body and healthier psyche. Never sell yourself short, give your body and mind a chance at pure joys of living with weight loss surgery.
